Handcuffs hurt. But the looks these people were giving me was a lot worse. At least Sin didn’t. He was walking by my side keeping as quiet as he could. I would’ve asked him something, but I was instructed to keep quiet as we went to go visit the Forest Leader. What was his name, Ranger? I never bothered to ask. It never mattered to me. The people who had handcuffed me lead me into a rather dark-ish cave. I said nothing as they let Sin walk in and lay next to me. Sin turned to me and mewled softly “What’s going on?” I waited until the people who lead us here to leave. I kept my voice low and replied with a rather monotone voice “I think I’m getting kicked out of the Forest.” “Why?” Sin asked, wide-eyed. I was about to give my answer, but I heard a noise echo from further in the cave. I took in a deep breath and waited for the Leader to come.

Two people slipped from the shadows of the cave and stood a few feet away from Aleks, one young boy around Aleks age who could not stifle his giggles and older man whose appearance showed his wisdom and age. “Aleks Feliz.” The older man spoke, his voice booming and intimidating. Sin snarled at the older man but quickly became quiet once Aleks stood up straighter. “You called?” no fear or nervousness was detectable in Aleks’ voice or eyes. “Hi Aleks!” The younger boy practically yelled causing the older man to quiet him. Aleks acknowledged to boy and was again turned to face the older man. “You know why you’re here correct?” “You’re banishing me from the forest for something I did not do, Sir.” Aleks tried not to let venom leak into his voice as he spoke, but to no avail. The anger he was hiding was detectable to trained ears. Unfortunately this older man had said trained ears. “First of all, my name is Cylan. Second of all, you have his blood thus what he did is your problem.” Cylan was getting rather irritated with Aleks. How could this boy stay this calm even after knowing he was getting kicked out? Arceus there must be something wrong with this boy. “I do not even know what you are referring to, but I would appreciate knowing why he is here.” Aleks said looking at the younger boy who waved. “Oh him? I looked around to see if anyone was willing to escort you to your new…residence.” Cylan chose his words rather carefully trying to make it seem that what was happening to Aleks was not that bad, but all he saw in Aleks’ eyes was hatred and loathing. “Ah I see…’escorting’. Well…His name…Is…Luken, no?” “Yup! Nice to see ya to Aleks!” The boy now dubbed Luken smiled and said rather joyfully. “Well…I’d like to get out of these handcuffs and pack up a bag before I get ‘escorted’ out of here.” “Oh…Yes. Right. Luken do you mind leading Aleks and his…Pokémon to his home?” “Nope, not at all!” Luken yelled out in joy again. “Well…Let us be off. I’d like to get out of these handcuffs any time now.”

I took in a deep breath before looking at Luken. He was giggling about who knows what and blushing. He’s rather…Strange. “Aleks…Aleks…Aleks!” Luken giggled yet again and swayed from side to side. “He’s crazier than a Meowth in a fit!” Sin chirped voicing my thoughts. I did nothing, but snicker at Luken’s confusion. I guess he can’t speak to Pokémon like I can. It would explain why his Pikachu was so silent. “What’s he saying?” Luken asked slightly irritated. I had to stifle a chuckle before I could answer clearly. “He’s calling you insane.” I couldn’t help, but laugh at Luken’s now flustered face. “That’s not fair. I’m not insane! Well maybe giggly…But At least I’m not Tauros Crap like your Eevee!” His face flushed more. I couldn’t help, but look at Sin. He held his tail up high rather proud he could irritate a human so easily. Smug little fur ball.

“Well…This is your stop.” Luken’s voice held an immense sadness. I guess he didn’t want to see me go. Strange, I thought he would be the happiest to see me go. “Yeah I guess…Hey Luken…Exactly why do you seem…Sad?” I asked carefully. I’m not sure, but I feel like I could have set him off. “What do you mean? Of course I’m sad! You’re a friend!” Luken looked close to tears which shocked my greatly. I’m not exactly familiar with the word friend. “Well…Uh…Why not come with me? You’ve left the forest. You might know your way around…We could be rivals?” Truth was I wouldn’t mind a non-Pokémon traveling partner, might be nice to travel with a person for once.  “Really you’d let me come with you?” He looked happier now, at least he stopped sniffing. “Well…I gu—Ow.” I had to stop speaking, Sin bit my ear. I knew he would yowl at me later for ‘inviting’ Luken along, but have you seen Luken sad? Luken is not one of those people you want to see sad. It’s contagious. “You don’t have to...I’ll just wait until you come back…” Luken sniffed after saying. He was trembling now. I sighed and didn’t want to admit I knew I wouldn’t be coming back. Cylan pretty much exiled me. I put my hand out and grabbed Luken’s. “Don’t make me kidnap you.” He smiled and blushed. Guess I’m getting a new companion after all.
If you don't understand what's happening, don't worry. Aleks explains it kind of in the next chapter when I get my lazy butt to start working on it. Oh and....SORRY ABOUT THE POV CHANGING EVERYWHERE IF IT DOES. I'M SORRY! Oh and that star thing is supposed to be a time skip, sorry if that wasn't clear.
